The MGW Rangemaster Universal Sight Tool offers most of the features of the MGW flagship Sight Pro Tool in a more compact package that's more budget-friendly for the average pistol owner. The Sight Pro is considered by many professional gunsmiths to be one of the best tools for installing sights and is worth every penny. However, it's a significant investment for the more casual gunsmith or shooter who prefers to do their own repairs and upgrades. MGW addresses this financial dilemma with their smaller Rangemaster Universal Sight Tool.

 

 

The difference? The Rangemaster has a range of only 0.750 inches from the rear of the slide to the front sight position. (For comparison, the original Sight Pro has a full range of 1.750 inches, used for 1911s and long-range competition pistols.) Otherwise, the Rangemaster functions exactly like the Sight Pro.

 

 

• Uses the same weapon-specific slide attachments (sold separately) as the original Sight Pro.
• Click slide attachment.
• Comes with a standard pusher block for straight sights.
• Also accepts other MGW pusher blocks (must be purchased separately).
• Upper assembly sold separately as the MGWSP800-U for quick pusher block changes—simply swap the entire upper half.

MGW designed the Rangemaster Universal Sight Tool to accept the same weapon-specific slide attachment inserts as the Sight Pro. You only buy the inserts you need for the firearms you're working on. And if you ever upgrade to the Sight Pro, the inserts you already own are 100% compatible.
