The horizontal markings and the illuminated dot are very fine on this reticle. They cover less of the field of view and the target. Alternatively, the RS-4 1-4x24 is also available with reticle #4.
On driven hunts in particular, things usually happen quickly. There is rarely enough time to align the view perfectly through the riflescope. The large eyebox of the RS-4 1-4x24 provides more room for manoeuvre here: even from less precise positions, it offers a clear view of the target - and therefore the chance of a shot when it counts.
